About the artist
Etienne Warneck was born in Paris and lives in New York.
After studying Architecture, Economics and Law, he received his M.F.A
from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
During his studies, Warneck engaged in painting on industrial materials and sculpture utilizing 3D Digital
modeling techniques. He also studied Photography and 3D Computer Arts at the School of Visual
Arts and 3D Printing applied to sculpture at NYU in New York.
After graduation, he moved to New York to work with architectural photographers
from the ESTO agency and for well recognized artists making large-scale artworks.
Since then, Warneck has employed 3D computer programs in association
with traditional painting to engage in a text-based practice questioning the relation between art
and economics.
